The Lonesome Club is a cocktail bar named after a speakeasy once operated by the owner’s great-grandmother during Prohibition. I worked as a freelance designer to create their logo and full brand identity. Drawing inspiration from the bar’s history, the brand identity blends vintage influences with a modern, elevated feel that reflects the atmosphere of the space.

The Lonesome Identity
The goal was to create a timeless identity that felt classic and inviting. Something that would stand the test of time, much like The Lonesome Club itself has. I used a serif font to stay grounded in classic speakeasy roots and paired that with a little script to bring in a modern, approachable touch. The balance of vintage and modern is carried through the menus and color palette - tying the whole brand together.
